The weather couldn’t have been better, the food was amazing, the entertainment was awesome, and the Chinese auction was a huge success. In short, the Fall Festival was an OUTSTANDING SUCCESS!

Our featured entertainers (Natalie Ivnik and Joshua Starr) also provided some of the music at our 5:00 Mass following the festival. Andy Granger also did a great job on the piano at the 5:00 Mass. Here’s the recording of Natalie & Josh’s music:

Comments at Mass
We were blessed to have former parishioner, Jessie Lipoma, speak to us at the conclusion of the 10:00 Sunday Mass. Mrs. Lipoma helped to bring St. Mary’s to Athens years ago. Following Fr. William’s comments, she spoke to us about her memories of those early years. Unfortunately I was not aware that she was going to speak, so the recording quality is quite poor. I hope to interview Jessie in the future to capture more clearly her thoughts and experiences from the early days of our parish history. Play the recording bleow:

Our photos are organized in sets. After opening a set, clicking the photo of your choice displays a larger image. Click the “Actions” drop down menu directly above the image then select “View all sizes.” Now you can choose the photo size you’d like and click the download link to transfer it to your computer.
