The Knights of Columbus are serving a deep-fried fish meal from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) on Congress Parkway in Athens.
The cost is $8.00 per person and 1/2 off for kids under 12. There will be hush-puppies, slaw, french fries, two desserts, and drinks: tea and water. TAKE-OUTS ARE AVAILABLE. There is also a cash bar at the VFW for strong drinks.
Tickets will be sold at the door and at St. Mary Church. Any Knights wishing to help need to be at the VFW at 4:00 PM to help set up. Wives are also welcome to help out.
